Helix Slim contains a dietary fibre that is derived from the Helianthus, also known as the Jerusalem artichoke. Helianthus is native to North America and a member of the sunflower family. It made its way across the Atlantic during the 17th century and soon became a staple food throughout Europe. Its colloquial name can be attributed to the fact that it is said to have a taste similar to that of artichoke. It shares the sunflower’s ability to swivel according to the path of the sun and Alfred Vogel wrote extensively of the healing properties of this ‘sunseeker’.
