Clary Sage Oil (Salvia sclarea) from Atlantic Aromatics has powerful relaxation properties that is said to uplift the body and mind. It may be particularly useful for individuals who experience depression and PMS symptoms.
Essential aromatherapy oils can be used in a number of different ways. One such application is vaporisation. This is best achieved by using the heat from a tea candle beneath an oil burner to vaporise a few drops of the aromatherapy oil. The amount of oil you should use will depend on the size and ventilation of the room in question, but will normally be between five and fifteen drops in a bowl of water. (Please note that it is extremely unwise to leave a tea candle unattended.)
The health benefits of essential oils can also be enjoyed through inhalation and massage. Essential oils are best stored in a cool, dark place and may also be refrigerated to keep it from spoiling. Freezing, however, will affect the product’s effectiveness. When using essential oils, remember not to leave the cap off the bottle for longer than necessary since these oils are volatile and prone to evaporation.
