Dr. Hauschka Cleansing Cream has been formulated for use on all skin types, but is particularly useful for individuals who have oily skin. It simultaneously maintains the skin’s natural pH balance and protects its moisture levels.
This natural skin care cleaning cream is based on variety of herbal extracts, including:
• St. John's Wort. High in hypericin and other flavonoid compounds, St. John’s Wort serves to reduce vascular fragility and inflammation.
• Chamomile. Chamomile has been used as an herbal remedy since Roman times and has been found to stimulate metabolic activity which aids in the healing of inflammatory skin conditions.
• Anthyllis. Also known as Woundwort, Anthyllis has a generally stimulating and normalising effect on the skin and has the ability to stimulate the skin's natural functions and support its regeneration.
• Calendula. The flavenoids present in the calendula flower and its inherent anti-inflammatory, astringent, antifungal and antiseptic properties result in an ideal topical agent. It can be applied to the skin to treat boils, rashes, sunburn, chafed skin, insect bites, and other skin irritations.
In combination, these organic extracts serve to reduce inflammation and clarify the skin.
