Viridian’s Black Cohosh extract can be used for the hormone balancing properties it contains. It is best used by women suffering from premenstrual tension and the symptoms of menopause. It may be of benefit for the alleviation of low libido, vaginal dryness, depression, joint and muscle aches, poor skin and nails and low bone density in aging women.
Black Cohosh was traditionally used by Native Americans for its gynaecological benefits, as well as the healing of rattlesnake bites. Recent scientific investigation however, has upheld the use of Black Hormones in treating dysmenorrhoea and the symptoms of hormonal imbalance.
Viridian’s Black Cohosh extract may be taken in the long terms at normal dosages, but preferably not for longer than six months continuously.
PLEASE NOTE: Do not take this product when taking other hormonal medicines, or when pregnant or planning to become pregnant.
This product by Viridian is an herbal, organic health product. The maximum dosage is three times a day with meals, or as directed by your healthcare professional. As Viridian’s Black Cohosh extract contains no animal products, it is suitable for vegan use.
